Support Services Bureau

The Support Services Lieutenant manages and supervises the functions of the Criminal Investigation Unit, School Resource Officers Unit, Task Force Operations, Community Resources Unit and Emergency Management and Safety Coordinator.

The Support Services Lieutenant evaluates and reviews cases, complaints, philosophies of the police department and service efforts; evaluates and monitors staff members’ strengths, weaknesses and interests to assist in career development; makes recommendations and takes action on disciplinary matters; implements and enforces department and town policies/procedures and assists in long and short term strategic planning.
