On April 15, 2024, the Town of Oro Valley turns 50 years old! Join us as we commemorate a half-century of history, growth, and community in Oro Valley! Our 50th Anniversary landing page has all the information you need about this year of community celebration.
The Oro Valley Police Department embraces the Neighborhood Watch philosophy of citizens and police working in partnership to reduce crimes and improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
By having an organized group of involved citizens addressing issues that concern the entire community, Neighborhood Watch programs can instill a greater sense of security, well-being and reduce the fear of crime in your community, as well as create a greater “sense of community” by putting the “neighbor” back into neighborhood.
If you are interested in finding out what a Neighborhood Watch program can do for your community, contact the Community Resources Unit at (520) 229-5080 or CRU@orovalleyaz.gov. They will be happy to assist in starting a program or provide support for an existing group.
