Repeal of the Town of Oro Valley Mayoral Proclamation of Emergency

WHEREAS, on March 17, 2020 Mayor Joseph C. Winfield issued a Mayoral Proclamation of Emergency; and
WHEREAS, on subsequent dates Mayor Winfield issued seven (7) separate amendments to the original March 17, 2020 Proclamation of Emergency; and
WHEREAS, on March 25, 2021, Governor Ducey issued Executive Order 2021-06 effectively repealing all but Mayor Winfield’s original March 17, 2020, Proclamation of Emergency along with the March 27, 2020, Amendment #3 and May 14, 2020 Amendment #5; and
WHEREAS, the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic have changed considerably since March 17, 2020; and
WHEREAS, based on the above, Mayor Joseph C. Winfield finds it appropriate to lift his declared Proclamation of Emergency, thereby repealing his original March 17, 2020, Proclamation of Emergency along with any otherwise effective amendments.
IT IS PROCLAIMED AND ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
- Mayor Winfield’s original March 17, 2020, Proclamation of Emergency is hereby lifted.
- Mayor Winfield’s original March 17, 2020, Proclamation of Emergency along with any otherwise effective amendments are hereby repealed.
- In accordance with A.R.S. §26-307(8), this proclamation shall be effective when a copy is filed in the office of the Town Clerk. All existing laws and rules in conflict of the same are hereby suspended during the time and to the extent that they conflict.
