The upcoming schedule of guest speakers and music for the Second Saturdays at Steam Pump Ranch follows.  In addition, the Oro Valley Farmer's Market will be at Steam Pump Ranch every Saturday from 8AM - noon.

April 12

8:00AM - 9:30AM     Tours of the restored 1870’s Pusch Family Ranch house and information on its history in Oro Valley.  Tours offered by Historical Society Docents under direction of Roxy Johnson.  Docents may be present after guest speaker for additional tours.

8:00AM - noon   Historic, Western and Americana Artisan and Antique Fair

8:00AM - noon  Farmers Market

9:30AM -10:30AM     Speaker: John Ravesloot
                           Topic:  Archaeologist John Ravesloot, was one of the authors of the OV Cultural Resources Inventory.  Some of this inventory dealt with the beginnings of the Town, early neighborhoods, and Town growth.  He and his wife Pat Spoerl have extensive knowledge about Oro Valley through time.

10:30AM - Noon   Heritage Garden Demonstration - Winter crop demos in the garden by Joyce Rychener including a few prehistoric activities for the kids.  Come see the pit house replica, create a pottery figurine, learn about gardening in the desert and meet and greet the monthly guest.

May 10th

                           Topic:  Seedlings was written to show that relationships can be healing, loving, and supportive, that acceptance is important for successful relationships, and that laughter is mandatory for every healthy relationship. Seedlings will give you a glimpse of love, marriage, or partnerships that hold laughter, hugs, trust, compassion, and love as the ultimate experiences in life. May you be entertained and inspired as you meander though my garden.
