| Oro Valley Classic Car show BBQ & Blue Family Festival 02/18/12 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Oro Valley Marketplace Judges rate more than 50 classes of antique, classic, muscle cars and trucks. Festival-goers not only can take in this parade of steel and chrome classics, but they also can rock to golden oldies spun by DJs and groove to the blues belted out by rockin' bands. Plenty of BBQ and other food fill-up the day and kids can enjoy art activities all set in the beautiful mountain views of Oro Valley.

| Oro Valley Festival of the Arts March 17 - 18 -Oro Valley Marketplace Sat:9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sun:10 a.m.-4 p.m. The Oro Valley Festival of the Arts has quickly become one of the largest regional art events in Southern Arizona in a matter of years at the largest outdoor shopping center in the region. Held twice annually, this two day festival features up to 120 artists in all mediums, live music on the main stage, food vendors and family arts activities. |

| OV Dollars - Launched Dec. 05, 2011 This program operates much like a regular gift card, but instead of only being able to use it at one retailer, shoppers can swipe their card at any of the participating businesses in Oro Valley. Cards can be purchased in denominations of $10 - $500 at the Town Hall Administration Building Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Sales tax is a major source of revenue for the Town of Oro Valley, representing 47.5% of the general fund. There is a direct connection between shopping locally and our quality of life. The fact is our infrastructure, public safety and parks, core programs and services that Oro Valley residents and visitors have come to enjoy are funded through local sales generated by shoppers.
