On March 6, 2019 the Oro Valley Police Department made an arrest in the death of Laurie Draegeth. Trevor Draegeth, age 37 and husband of Laurie Draegeth, has been arrested for First Degree Murder. Trevor Draegeth originally called 911 to report his wife committed suicide. When officers arrived on scene they found Laurie Draegeth with obvious gunshot trauma. She was pronounced deceased on scene. Based on the subsequent investigation, probable cause was established for the arrest of Trevor Draegeth.
Two small children who were asleep at the time of the incident were placed with family and have remained with extended family during the duration of this investigation. A booking photo will be released when it becomes available. The investigation is still on going.
