Teacher Arrested for Sexual Relationship with Minor
Oro Valley, Arizona (July 28, 2021) – Detectives of the Oro Valley Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit traveled to Aurora Colorado after a warrant was issued to arrest Mark Lindrud (DOB 01/17/1972), for numerous counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor.
From August of 2002 to May 2003, Mark Lindrud was a teacher at Ironwood Ridge High School in the Amphitheater School District. When the sexual contact began, Lindrud was one of the 14-year-old victim’s teachers. Lindrud was employed as a teacher in the Aurora Public School District at the time of his arrest.
The Oro Valley Police Department coordinated with Aurora Police Department in Colorado as they took Lindrud into custody earlier today. Lindrud is currently being held on a million-dollar bond while awaiting extradition from the Aurora Detention Center to Pima County. Mark Lindrud is being charged with the following:
