On December 10, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. the Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 53 will partner for the annual “Shop with OVPD” event. OVPD, Town Council members and Town staff will shop with Oro Valley students at the Target located at 10555 N. Oracle Road. Teachers and school counselors choose children who are in need of assistance at Oro Valley schools.
This year, the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce will contribute $450 to help offset the total cost. “Every year, our Chamber supports Shop with OVPD, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity. The holidays are about giving, and the business community we represent enjoys doing our little part to help those in need.”
