On May 2, 2019 the Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) Community Action Team, developed probable cause to serve a search warrant at 8252 North Northern. There were prior reports of activity consistent with drug sales. Inside, officers discovered a large amount of U.S currency, three firearms, ammunition, high capacity magazines, approximately five grams of cocaine, 30 pounds of marijuana, 50 packages of THC infused edibles and over 1500 vials of THC oil. The resident, Noah Barnes, age 25, was arrested. Barnes was charged with Possession of Narcotic Drugs for Sale, Possession of Marijuana for Sale, and Possession of a Weapon During a Drug Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

This arrest is significant as the vials of THC are often used in e-cigarettes and THC edibles are packaged to look like rice crispy treats and candy which can be appealing to teens.
