New online tool gives Oro Valley residents more ways to provide input

Published on January 16, 2019

Do you have one minute a month to help make Oro Valley even better? The Town of Oro Valley has just launched an online survey tool, making it even easier for residents to weigh in on a variety of topics. With the new FlashVote platform, residents can sign up to take a one-minute survey (no more than once a month). Survey responses are anonymous and will provide statistically valid information for Council and Town leadership to make important decisions regarding the issues like the Town's budget, capital improvement projects, parks and recreation, programs and services. Everyone who takes the survey online will receive the results once the survey closes. The Town's first survey will be sent out in early February, so sign up today at www.flashvote.com/orovalley and make sure your voice is heard!

Residents register directly with FlashVote and receive an email prompting them to log in and complete a survey. No personal information is shared with the Town. The Town only receives demographic information and broad geographical analytics.

It takes just one minute to sign up, and the surveys are brief.

Don't have a computer or smart phone? No problem!

"Communities across the country are having great success with these types of tools to help them get a broader picture of community opinions. The Town has certainly seen wide participation in online surveys it has previously conducted, which is why we are adding this new tool," said Town Manager Mary Jacobs.
