AZGOHS Provides OVPD FFY-20 Grant Funding to Combat DUI and Speeding

The Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) through financial support by the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety (AZGOHS) has received $32,116 for FFY20, in overtime funding to support DUI enforcement and participation with the Southern Arizona Task Force. AZGOHS has also provided OVPD $24,968 for FFY20 to fund the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP).

OVPD is committed to eliminating crimes involving the abuse of drugs and alcohol in our community, as well as, preventing unnecessary injury and fatalities due to speed related collisions, reckless driving behavior and inattention. We would like to thank AZGOHS Director, Alberto Gutier and his staff for their continued partnership and support toward this effort.
