Community Academy is a fun, interactive, and award-winning opportunity to learn about your Town and local government.
The 2026 Community Academy program will be held from September 15 - October 21. All classes are held in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (click HERE for map) from 6-8PM. Participants are encouraged to attend in person but may join the classes online. Please note, online attendees will have limited participation experience. Staff highly recommends attending in-person.
Participants who attend at least half of the classes will graduate from the Academy. The graduation ceremony, featuring a certificate of recognition, will take place during the Town Council meeting on October 21, 2026. Graduates are in a uniquely informed position to apply for a Town Board or Commission.
