Do you wonder how Town of Oro Valley services are funded? What new jobs or employers are coming to Town? How new developments are reviewed? If so, join Town staff and local experts for Community Academy"”a fun and free opportunity to learn more about your community and local government. Community Academy will be held twice a week, from 6 to 8 p.m., throughout the month of October at Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada.

Topics include:

• Welcome and Overview of Town Governance and Finances, Oct. 9
• Creating Prosperity and Economic Opportunities, Oct. 11
• Water: Present and Future, Oct. 16
• Rezoning and Development Review, Oct. 18
• OV Main Streets: Placemaking through Public Art, Oct. 23
• Get Involved in Oro Valley, Oct. 25

A group graduation will be held during the Nov. 7 Town Council meeting at 6 p.m.
