Although born in Oklahoma, Don Driggars grew up and has lived most of his life in Oregon. As a young child, he learned to love and appreciate all the natural beauty that surrounds each of us every day. He studied, and was in tune with everything around him, and always had a strong desire to somehow capture the beauty he saw in his world, and express the feelings of peace and joy it gave him.

In his senior year at Roseburg High School, he discovered he had the ability to do this through the magic of art. It soon became a burning passion to be able to paint everything he saw, as well as he possibly could.

He attended Clark Collage in Vancouver, Washington, where he devoted his studies to drawing and painting. Throughout the years, he has had instructions from numerous well known artists Doris Bedel, Sharon Rickerts, Delores Roos, and has won many awards and has received a great deal of recognition for his work. He has exhibited throughout Oregon, and Washington, and is currently represented in six galleries in Oregon and Arizona.

Although his subjects vary, from landscapes, florals, seascapes, cityscapes just about anything he sees, his favorites are capturing people and places he encounters in his travels throughout the world. "Moments of My Life" is how he describes some of the scenes he has recreated on canvas. "All are moments from my life, re-lived again on canvas."
