On July 27, 2020, the Oro Valley Police Department was contacted regarding a male who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound at 25 W. Calle Concordia. Upon arrival units found 40 year old Noel Watts unconscious and bleeding heavily from the leg. Officers immediately rendered first aid including applying a tourniquet and CPR.  Paramedics arrived and continued CPR, but were unable to save Noel Watts.  Noel Watts was pronounced dead on scene.  Officers did locate the handgun along with the spent cartridge casing inside Noel Watts clothing.  Noel Watts was working for a subcontractor hired to reroof the school building. That section of the school was closed due to construction.  At that time, there were no students on campus and no one else was injured.
