“50 Businesses for 50 Years” Shop Oro Valley program launches Feb. 5

ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (Feb. 1, 2024) – To help celebrate the Town of Oro Valley’s 50th Anniversary this year, the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce has partnered with 50 local businesses for a special shop local campaign, which officially launches Monday, Feb. 5, 2024.

Throughout the year, fifty Oro Valley businesses will be highlighted for a period of two weeks. During that time, shoppers are encouraged to visit and support the highlighted business and enter the raffle. At the end of the two weeks, a winner will be announced from each business’s raffle box. Shoppers can win specialty prizes from each business or one of 50 grand prize bundles from the Chamber. Each bundle includes: a one-night stay and breakfast for two at El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort; two passes to Tohono Chul Gardens, Gallery & Bistro; a $25 gift card to Noble Hops; and a stylish Stanley-style Chamber mug.

"Strong businesses are the backbone of a healthy community,” said Kristen Sharp, President & CEO of the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce. “We're so excited to launch this special program that celebrates Oro Valley's dynamic business community over the last 50 years.”

How to Participate:

1. Visit and Support: Explore the featured businesses during their two-week spotlight. New businesses will be introduced regularly, so stay tuned for updates.

2. Enter the Raffle: Take a moment to immerse yourself in the unique offerings of each business and enter the raffle. One entry per visit, please.

3. Win and Pick Up: At the end of each two-week period, lucky winners will be drawn and contacted. Winners have two weeks to pick up their prizes.

There is a direct connection between residents’ quality of life and the impact of shopping locally. Dollars spent in the Oro Valley community help fund core services such as roads and public safety. The “50 Businesses for 50 Years” campaign is a great opportunity to support local businesses while celebrating the Town’s 50th Anniversary.
