ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (August 5, 2026) – The Town of Oro Valley is accepting applications from local residents interested in serving on the Budget and Finance Commission.
The commission currently has one open position. Members must be residents of Oro Valley, available to attend scheduled meetings, and committed to completing the Town’s Community Academy within their term.
The Budget and Finance Commission advises the Town Council on policy matters related to the town’s finances. Its work includes reviewing the Town Manager’s recommended budget, examining the town’s annual financial audit, and addressing other financial matters as needed.
Commission members serve two-year terms. Applicants should have a background or experience in accounting, finance, banking, investments, or another related business discipline.
The commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at Town Hall.
