ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (March 31, 2026) — Residents who walk, run, bike or enjoy time on the Chuck Huckelberry Loop are encouraged to share their feedback through Pima County’s public survey as part of the One Pima Initiative. The initiative is a two-year countywide plan focused on public safety, treatment and recovery services, housing stability, public health, and improvements to the Loop and other County-managed public spaces. The survey is available through the end of April.

The survey is intended to help shape future improvements to the Loop, including cleanliness, safety, and overall user experience. The Loop spans more than 138 miles and connects neighborhoods across the region, making it an important shared space for recreation, transportation and public health.

Current efforts under the Loop Cleanup and Safety portion of One Pima include more frequent cleanup of paths, parks and washes, removal of debris and safety hazards, and planning for additional signage and community feedback. Future efforts include a Wellness App for reporting issues and accessing safety information, as well as expanded cleanup coverage across the park system.

For Oro Valley residents, the survey is an opportunity to help shape the future of one of the region’s most-used amenities. Whether you use the Loop for exercise, commuting, family outings or simply enjoying the outdoors, your input can help Pima County better understand community priorities and improve the experience for everyone. The survey is available online through Pima County. Click here for survey.
