Oro Valley, Arizona (June 21, 2021) – Celebrate your independence with the Town of Oro Valley this July 4th! Due to ongoing health and safety precautions, there will not be an in-person event this year, but there will be a spectacular fireworks show for the community to enjoy. The show begins at 9 p.m. and will last for about 20 minutes. Fireworks will be launched from Naranja Park, 810 W. Naranja Drive.

In lieu of an event, the Town ordered larger shells (fireworks) to be seen from greater distances. A larger fireworks show means a broader safety zone is needed. As such, Naranja Park will be closed to the public that day, beginning at 10 a.m. so crews can set-up for the show. The closure includes the playground, sport fields, dog parks, archery facilities, trails and ridges. We understand this may be an inconvenience for some park users, but your safety is our priority.

If you can’t see the fireworks from your property or you’d rather celebrate indoors with air conditioning, we’ve got you covered! The entire show will be live-streamed via Facebook Live on the Town’s official page: Town of Oro Valley – Government.

This year’s fireworks show is generously sponsored by Lisa Bayless | Realtor | Long Realty.

Important note to residents near Naranja Park:
We understand that some individuals and/or pets may be sensitive to loud noises such as fireworks. If this applies to your household, you may want to consider making alternative plans at another location on July 4, from 9 to 9:30 p.m.
