Welcome to the Haunted Car Ride at Steam Pump Ranch! We're glad you could join us...and we hope you live to regret it! Naw, just kidding, actually, you will only regret it if you don't read all of the instructions.

You landed on this page, because you have secured a seat on what will surely be the ride of your life. Here's what you need to know:

The Haunted Car Rides are a series of frightening stories narrated on your smart phone/device from the safety of your own vehicle! The audio will be loaded on this page shortly before the rides begin on Friday. For best results, your smartphone should be connected to your vehicle’s sound system by cable or by application.

Preregistration
This event is sold out. Be sure to bring your ticket and have it ready upon arriving at Steam Pump Ranch 

Entry
You need to enter Steam Pump Ranch at Steam Pump Way then turn left behind the QT (Quick Trip) and continue to the ranch.

Arrival time
Tickets are allocated in 30-minute increments. Please arrive at the ranch shortly before your assigned time. If you arrive after your assigned time, you may be turned away.

Before you start
Please turn off your phone notifications prior to the ride starting. A phone call, text message or other notification could pause the audio during the Haunted Car Ride and affect your experience. Just don't forget to turn your notifications back on when the ride is over!

The adventure begins!

  • An attendant will let you know when to press play on the audio.
  • Please do not pause the audio during the ride.
  • If possible, use your fog lights or running lights instead of your headlights to navigate the Haunted Car Ride course
    • If it is too dark to see without your headlights, please turn them on!
  • Please drive slowly through the course.
  • The narrator will tell you when to move to the next stop.
  • Please do not move to the next stop until instructed to do so by the narrator.
  • Throughout the ride, watch for characters or others walking as we want this to be a safe event.
  • As you exit please drive slowly.
