Why Plan

The Oro Valley Trails Connect Master Plan is a comprehensive, long-range strategy for the maintenance, optimization, and expansion of the Town’s trails and paths network. The Master Plan and the planning process enables the Town to identify the community’s vision, goals, and necessary actions to meet resident expectations.

Paved Multi-Use Paths

OV Trails Connect: Multi-use paths (MUPs) within Oro Valley are paved asphalt or concrete surfaces. The majority run along roadways and are separated from the road itself with a landscape buffer with vegetation and/or decomposed granite.

The Loop

OV Trails Connect: The Chuck Huckelberry Loop is a paved pathway system that is part of Pima County’s cooperative partnerships with multiple jurisdictions.
