Are you passionate about protecting our community from flooding and ensuring the quality of our stormwater management? Join the stormwater Utility Commission (SWUC).

The Town of Oro Valley is seeking committed individuals to fill two open positions on the Stormwater Utility Commission. 

About the Commission: 

SWUC members serve two-year terms and play a crucial role in advising the Town Council on: 

  • Flood control strategies to safeguard our residents and infrastructure. 
  • Stormwater quality management to protect our local environment. 
  • Issuance of bonds for stormwater-related projects and improvements. 
  • Prescribing service charges for stormwater utility operations.

Meeting details: The commission meets on the third Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. providing a structured forum for collaboration and impact. 

We welcome community members with an interest in environmental sustainability, infrastructure planning, or public service. No technical background is required.
