Oro Valley publishes first-ever Community Report

ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (September 28, 2026) – The Town of Oro Valley is proud to announce the publication of its first-ever Community Report, a new resource designed to give residents a clear and accessible look at the Town’s progress on its 2026-27 Strategic Plan.

The report highlights work completed during Fiscal Year 2025/26, which spans July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Covering the first year of the Town’s current two-year Strategic Plan, the report provides an overview of key projects, initiatives and accomplishments advanced by the Town Council and Town management.

“This Community Report is about making our work transparent, understandable and connected to the priorities residents have set for Oro Valley,” said Jeff Wilkins, Oro Valley Town Manager. “It shows how the Town’s services, projects and investments advance both the Council-adopted Strategic Plan and the voter-ratified General Plan.”

Updated every two years, the Strategic Plan guides Town decision-making, helps prioritize resources and establishes organizational goals for the work ahead. The plan is grounded in Oro Valley’s long-term community vision established through the voter-ratified 2016 Your Voice, Our Future General Plan.

Rather than cataloging every Town activity, the Community Report focuses primarily on completed projects and measurable outcomes, providing residents with a concise snapshot of progress across the Strategic Plan’s seven focus areas:

  • Economic Vitality
  • Culture and Recreation
  • Public Safety
  • Infrastructure and Town Assets
  • Land Use and Design
  • Effective and Efficient Government
  • Financial Stability

The Community Report reflects Oro Valley’s continued commitment to transparency, accountability and open communication with residents. The Town encourages the community to explore the report, learn more about the progress being made and stay informed about the work shaping Oro Valley’s future.
