Zoom video conferencing account setup instructions

Step 1.Using your desktop, smartphone or tablet, visit:

zoom.us

Step 2.Click on the “Sign up Free” button

Step 3.Enter your birthday and click continue

Step 4.Enter your email address then press "Sign up"

Zoom will send you a confirmation email.

Step 5.Check your email for a confirmation email from Zoom, open it, and click "Activate Account"

Step 6.Are you signing in on behalf of a school?

Check no.

Step 7.Enter your first and last name, as well as a password (enter it twice) that meets Zoom's criteria, continue.

Step 8.Check the box saying you're not a robot and then click "Skip This Step"

At this point, you can also click on the "Invite Colleagues" button to invite friends to connect with you on Zoom, but we're skipping that step as well as the "Personal Meeting URL" step.

Your account is now created.

Also, at this point, your computer may ask if you want the computer to remember your password. That's up to you.

Step 9.Click on Go to My Account

 Your account is now set up, and we need to download the Zoom app onto your device.

Step 10.On the main page, scroll all the way to the bottom.

Step 11.Click on "Download"

If you're using Google Chrome, you will see it download in the lower left corner of your browser.

Step 12.Click the download Zoom file ("Zoom Client for Meetings") - 1st Option

Once you click it, the application will install itself.

Step 13.Open the Zoom application and sign in

Using your email and the password you created, sign in to your Zoom account!
