National Night Out and Safe Treats Event

National Night Out & Halloween Safe Treats 2025 – A Spooktacular Success!
The Oro Valley Police Department, in proud partnership with our co-title sponsors, the Lisa Bayless Realty Team and Waste Management, hosted the annual National Night Out on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Walmart Shopping Center (2150 E. Tangerine Road, Oro Valley, AZ).
Held every year on the Friday before Halloween, this event continues to grow as a cherished community tradition—bringing families, neighbors, and local organizations together for a safe and festive evening. We proudly combine this event with our Halloween Safe Treats celebration to offer something for everyone.
This year’s event highlights included:
  • A LifeNet Arizona EMS helicopter display that wowed the crowd
  • A U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter on-site for an up-close look
  • University of Arizona football student-athletes signing autographs
  • Special appearances by Wilbur and Wilma, the beloved University of Arizona mascots
  • A spirited performance by the University of Arizona Spirit Squad
  • Over 7,000 attendees enjoying candy, games, and community fun
  • Creative costumes worn by attendees of all ages
  • Prizes, giveaways, and interactive displays from local partners
A heartfelt thank you to all our community exhibitors who showcased their own safety initiatives and helped make the event engaging and educational. We also extend our deepest appreciation to our law enforcement partners, including federal, state, and local agencies for their strong presence and continued collaboration.
And a special shoutout to the Golder Ranch Fire District—both the incredible team members and the impressive equipment displays that were a huge hit with attendees of all ages!
A shout out to Walmart, TEP, SWG, Town West Properties and all the sponsors that contributed in one way or another!
Looking ahead to 2026!
