Archery Range

Bring out your inner Robin Hood at Oro Valley’s Archery Range located at Naranja Park, 810 W Naranja Drive. 

The fixed range goes from 10 to 100 yards as well as 9 to 90 meters.  There are also two 14-target walking courses. 

Though all ages are welcome at the archery course, staff members ask that anyone younger than 16 be accompanied by an adult. Compound bows, crossbows and traditional archery equipment are allowed. Only field tips are permitted; broadheads are not allowed. No rental equipment is available. 

Open Sunrise to Sunset, seven days a week. Watch for seasonal archery events.

Daily Use Fee is $5.00 for youth, adult or senior. Credit only
Children 7 or younger are FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.

Memberships:

Memberships can be purchased online at playov.com or at the Parks and Recreation office, 10555 N. La Cañada Drive - Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  • Adult membership (ages 18+) $60 billed monthly at $5 per month
  • Youth membership (ages 8 - 17) $20 billed monthly at $1.66 per month
  • Family membership $135 (in same household) billed monthly at $11.25 per month

Safety Rules

  •  All range users are responsible for safety and safe shooting.
  • Field tips only. No broadhead shooting permitted.
  • No sky drawing.
  • Shooters are responsible for immediately correcting any unsafe conditions.
  • Shooting is permitted ONLY when:
  • all persons are behind the waiting lines
  • safe shooting conditions exist, and
  • the all-clear signal is given for archers to approach the shooting line.
  • No shooting at unauthorized targets.
  • No hunting.
  • Deposit all trash in containers and cigarette butts in appropriate receptacles.
  • Alcohol is Prohibited in Naranja Park.
  • Respect other shooters, their equipment, and other park users.
  • No shooting until the previous group is clear of the target.
  • No running allowed on any range.
  • Shooting is to be done into approved target butts only.
  • Respect the environment, the natural setting and all users of the park.
  • Handle equipment in a safe manner, with arrows always pointed towards to the target.
  • Arrows may only be nocked on the shooting line.
  • Secure loose clothing. Remove loose items: Jewelry, strings, cords, etc.
