Event Information

Join Parks & Recreation Staff in the National Parks & Recreation Association Campaign, "Parks for Pollinators Bioblitz" as we explore making our parks a happy home for pollinators! Help us document and identify as many pollinators and habitat flora as possible using the iNaturalist app to track your observations, and participate in activities for all ages in our Heritage Garden at Steam Pump Ranch. Let's see just how many species we can find!

Activities offered by Parks & Rec staff include a pollination relay yard game, building a giant hive, and make your own camera to sight species for your grownup to take pictures of and upload to iNaturalist! Chat with a Certified Pollination Steward and find more pollinator resources around the garden.

Youth must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Advance registration is encouraged but not required.
