Children’s Museum Oro Valley at Tohono Chul has indoor and outdoor exhibits. Daily activities and programming for kids and families meshes with the natural focus of Tohono Chul, with a focus on the culture, animals and plants of our Sonoran Desert region.

The indoor space, designed for kids 5 and younger, includes exhibits from the original Oro Valley location: Airways, Peek-a-Boo Place, Farmers Market, Fun Mirrors and the Light Table. It is open 9 am-1 pm Tuesdays-Sundays, when our Nature Niños educators are on hand with daily programming, including a story time a 9:30 am and an open arts & craft activity until 1 pm.

Outdoor spaces have activities and exhibits that everyone will enjoy: Block Building; Clay Studio; Mud Kitchen; Water Table; Paint Sculpture; an outside Art Studio with painting, drawing and even pretend planting; and outdoor musical instruments. The Meditation Garden also includes an area for music and slate painting. Outdoor spaces are accessible whenever Tohono Chul is open, 8 am-5 pm every day.
