ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (October 7, 2026) – The Town of Oro Valley will conduct road-improvement work on Naranja Drive between First Avenue and La Cañada Drive on October 12 and 13 as part of its Pavement Preservation Program.
Naranja Drive will be restricted to one lane only through the work area. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time or choose alternate routes whenever possible.
Residential access
Access to neighborhoods via the Naranja Drive construction area will be limited during construction but will remain open to streets that have a single point-of-entry from Naranja Drive. Residents are encouraged to use Lambert Lane or Tangerine Road as alternate routes. Detour signage will be posted, and traffic officers will assist drivers at the intersections of Lambert Lane/La Cañada Drive and Lambert Lane/First Avenue.
Oro Valley Library access
Visitors to the Oro Valley Library should use the Town Hall parking lot entrance off La Cañada Drive.
Multi-use path access
The Naranja Drive multi-use path will remain an active construction zone during this work. Please avoid entering the path and use caution near crews and equipment.
