Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve Russian Thistle Weed Pull

Dear Russian Thistle Warriors,

You crushed it at our last Russian Thistle Pull—thank you for making a huge impact at Vistoso Nature Trail Preserve! But the job isn’t done yet… and we need YOU back on the front lines.

There’s still Russian Thistle near Hole 1, and it’s racing to go to seed. We’re hosting another pull-on November 12 from 8 to 10am, and every hand counts. The more of us out there, the faster we can protect our trails and wildlife from this invasive threat!

Here’s the game plan:

• Pull the Russian Thistle
• Pile it up for Parks staff to collect
• Celebrate making the preserve healthier and stronger

This is your chance to make an immediate difference, enjoy the outdoors, and join a team of awesome volunteers committed to preserving our natural spaces.

Details:

• Date: Wednesday November 12
• Time: 8:00 – 10:00 AM
• Location: Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve (meet in the parking lot)
• What to bring: Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing.
• What we will have for you: Gloves, bags for weeds, and water.
