Lace Up & Wind Down!

Winter means perfect weather for hiking, walking and running. It’s the best time of year to lace up and hit the trails, and then wind down in the evening with beautiful sunsets! In addition to the trail system at Catalina State Park, the Town of Oro Valley has more than 50 miles of trails and paths, set against the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains. Want to learn more about our trails? Click here.

Looking for some competition? Join us for the MOVE Across 2 Ranges hiking challenge, the Arizona Distance Classic or the OV Sprint Triathlon.

When you’re done with the trails, it’s time to wind down and enjoy the warmth and beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Whether it’s a day at the spa, a delicious meal or cocktails at sunset, Oro Valley has what you’re looking for. See our list of featured hotels, golf courses and restaurants.

If wine is your thing, plan your visit around the Off the Vine Arizona Wine Festival on February 18, featuring tastings from 20 of Arizona’s vineyards and wineries. That’s right - Arizona is wine country!
