Town seeks to fill vacancy on Budget and Finance Commission

The Town of Oro Valley is accepting applications from residents who are interested in serving on the Budget and Finance Commission. To serve on a board or commission, members must be residents of Oro Valley, be available to attend the designated meetings and be committed to the completion of the Town’s Community Academy within their term.

The Town of Oro Valley is accepting applications from residents who are interested in serving on the Budget and Finance Commission. To serve on a board or commission, members must be residents of Oro Valley, be available to attend the designated meetings and be committed to the completion of the Town’s Community Academy within their term.

The Budget and Finance Commission (BFC) has one open position. BFC members serve two-year terms. The BFC was formed to advise the Town Council on policy related issues associated with fiduciary responsibilities, including review of the Town Manager’s recommended budget, review of the Town’s annual financial audit and other financial policy matters as may be tasked from time to time. All members of the commission shall have a background or experience in accounting, finance, banking, investments or other related business administration area. The BFC meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. at Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive.
