Third-grader at Copper Creek Elementary School

  • Jacob “Bubba” Mustain has been known as “Bubba” since he was an infant. Bubba is the name his middle brother called him, and it just stuck.
  • Bubba is in third grade at Copper Creek Elementary School, and he is an excellent student who works very hard to earn good grades.

  • He is kind to others and is a leader by example.
  • His passion is baseball. Bubba plays on a Little League team and a Club team. He actually learned to throw a ball before he could walk!
  • When he is not playing baseball, he plays youth football on the Oro Valley Dolphins team.
  • At a very early age, Bubba learned that service to the community is important for people of all ages.
  • He is very active in school fundraisers, including the patio project at Copper Creek. During Spring Break he carried bricks, and helped wherever he was needed.
  • He is also part of a team that adopted a section of the Canyon del Oro Wash to keep it clean and free of trash.
  • This young man is an outstanding volunteer, a friend to others, and a student every teacher would want to have in class.
