For the tenth year in a row, the Town of Oro Valley Procurement Division has received the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award from the National Procurement Institute.

September 20, 2017

The Town of Oro Valley is one of only 14 agencies in Arizona, and one of only 68 cities/towns in the United States and Canada to receive this award, which is recognized as the benchmark of excellence in the profession. Award criteria are designed to measure innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity and leadership attributes of the procurement function.

“The Town's Procurement Division, led by Procurement Administrator Mark Neihart, is committed to the highest level of ethics and integrity in sourcing commodities and services for the Town,” said Finance Director Stacey Lemos. “Through his leadership and innovation, we conduct our procurement activities in the most efficient and cost effective manner by maximizing our taxpayer dollars through fair and competitive methods. It is an honor to be recognized with this award for the tenth consecutive year.”
