Oro Valley now accepting applications for volunteer position on the RTA’s Citizens Accountability for Regional Transportation Committee

The Town of Oro Valley is now accepting applications from residents who are interested in serving as a representative to the Regional Transportation Authority’s (RTA) Citizens Accountability for Regional Transportation Committee (CART). Applicants must be residents of the Town, be available to attend the designated meetings and be committed to the completion of the Town’s Community Academy within their term.

CART provides oversight for the implementation of the 20-year RTA plan and reviews the RTA’s annual report. The Town has one open position that serves four- to six-year terms on the committee, which meets quarterly. All meetings are held at Pima Association of Governments, 1 E. Broadway Blvd. #401, Tucson.
