Oro Valley Mayor Joe Winfield will deliver his first State of the Town Address on Tuesday, October 15 at the El Conquistador, a Hilton Resort in Oro Valley.

October 9, 2019

The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. with remarks beginning at approximately 12 p.m. Members of the media are invited to cover this event, as Winfield, along with some special guests, will speak about the seven focus areas of the Council-adopted Strategic Leadership Plan. Those areas include: economic vitality; culture and recreation; public safety; roads, water and town assets; land use; effective and efficient government; and town finances.

This year’s title sponsor is the University of Arizona. UA President Dr. Bobby Robbins will serve as special guest speaker. The annual State of the Town Address and Luncheon is hosted by the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce and includes a Business Expo at 10 a.m., featuring more than 50 local businesses and organizations. For questions about the event or tickets, please call the Chamber at 520-297-2191. There are a few tickets remaining, but the Town expects this event to be at capacity. The Business Expo has sold out and has no remaining booths.

A video of the Mayor’s address will be available online in the week following the event. Check the Town’s website at or follow us on Facebook for details.
