A native of Arizona, Robert was born and raised in Tucson. His interest in photography was sparked at an early age by his father who was an amateur photographer. Robert was in the photo club in high school and had a darkroom at home. He and his wife, Myrta, have owned and operated commercial and portrait studios and a color lab. Robert served as past president of the Arizona Professional Photographer's Association and as a National Councilman of the Professional Photographers of America. He has served as a judge for the St. Louis Artist's Guild and local photo clubs. His work has appeared in numerous magazines including Arizona Highways, Sunset, Desert and many others. His photographs have been exhibited nationally and hand in many homes and offices. After retiring from studio life, Robert has concentrated on landscape photography. Never tiring of his love of photography and nature, he hikes into locations before sunrise and waits for that magic moment when everything is perfect. Robert feels that light and depth is the key to his fine art photographs. The great outdoors is his workshop.

All of his fine art photographs are original Giclee and many are gallery wrap canvas.
