COVID-19 Update: Lobbies of Town facilities closing to public access March 23; all board and commission meetings cancelled through April 30

In an ongoing effort to minimize the potential for community spread of COVID-19, the lobbies of all Town buildings will be closed to the general public, effective Monday, March 23.* During this closure, Town staff will still be providing service to Oro Valley residents via phone, email and online. Please see contact info below. This closure does not apply to the Oro Valley Police Department nor the Oro Valley Magistrate Court.

In an ongoing effort to minimize the potential for community spread of COVID-19, the lobbies of all Town buildings will be closed to the general public, effective Monday, March 23.* During this closure, Town staff will still be providing service to Oro Valley residents via phone, email and online. Please see contact info below. This closure does not apply to the Oro Valley Police Department nor the Oro Valley Magistrate Court. Those facilities will remain open for public access, with some limitations. For details on the Court, click here.

As a reminder, many Town services and payments can be conducted online. Please visit www.orovalleyaz.gov and click “Online Services” in the upper right-hand corner.

* A.R.S. 26-311 authorizes the Town of Oro Valley to close access to public buildings for a local emergency. Mayor Joe Winfield issued a proclamation of emergency on March 17, and an amendment to that proclamation on March 19.

  • OVPD’s Annual Drug Awareness Day at Riverfront Park (March 27) CANCELLED
  • Oro Valley Police Citizen Academy (Feb. 4 – April 21) CANCELLED
  • Veterans and First Responders 5 Miler (May 16) CANCELLED
