A majority of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Conceptual Design Review Board and Town Council may attend a neighborhood meeting
regarding a proposed General Plan Amendment and rezoning for an approximately 78-acre property known as the Manning Property located east of Shannon Road immediately south of Ironwood Ridge High School (see attached map).
This neighborhood meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Casas Church – Palo Verde Room located at 10801 N. La Cholla Boulevard in Oro Valley, AZ.
The applicant’s proposal includes two changes. The first is to change the General Plan land use designation from Rural Low Density Residential to Low Density Residential – 2. The second is to change the zoning designation from Large lot residential (R1-144) to small lot cluster residential (R1-7). The applicant and Town staff will be in attendance and will be available to answer questions. The applicant is required to hold a neighborhood meeting prior to submitting a formal application for the proposed amendment. The application will be considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission who will provide a recommendation to Town Council who will make the final decision on the applicant’s request. Notices will be mailed prior to each meeting.
