Spring 2018 Pavement Preservation - Funded by Pima County

Case #:
OV30 17/18 02
Surface treatments being applied to regional local roads, including specific subdivisions and public roadways

The Regional Local Road Repair Program is funded by the 25-cent Pima County Property Tax approved by the Pima County Board of Supervisors. Approximately $9.5 million in local road improvements will be performed region-wide in 2018. More information on the Regional Local Road Repair Program can be found at, or by calling (520)724-6410.

The surface treatments in Oro Valley will take place in two phases: crack sealing in late spring of 2018, and application of stress-absorbing membrane (SAM) in fall of 2018. The phases are independent of each other, and residents of affected roads will receive advance notifications. This work is funded by Pima County and is being performed by contractor Southern Arizona Paving.
