Celebrate Oro Valley is new, annual event, designed to celebrate the community we love. This year’s theme, “Then & Now” will highlight the Town’s founding year of 1974, showcasing the following pillars of our history.

• Leadership & Direction
The celebration spans an entire weekend, so there’s something for everyone!

Experience horses, livestock and ranching activities that the Leiber family enjoyed during the late 60’s and mid 70s. Reminisce about what exciting things were happening in Oro Valley and at Steam Pump Ranch since 1974. Attendees will also enjoy:

Dyn-O-Mile at the Oro Valley Community Center

On Your Left Fitness will provide an awesome one-mile “Dyn-O-Mile” race that will be “Dyn-O-Mite!” Various races available, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Cost is $22.50; price increases $5 per month beginning Feb. 1.

Kickball Tournament playoffs at Naranja Park

Cheer on your favorite team! The Celebrate Oro Valley Kickball League, which began in February, will hold playoff games on April 15, beginning at 9 a.m.

Hike, bike, run or walk!
8 - 11 a.m.
Enjoy the beauty that surrounds Oro Valley by getting out and enjoying nature. Snacks will be available to all participants.
Option 1:
Meet at Chase Bank in the Oro Valley Marketplace (Oracle & Tangerine) to carpool in ($3.50 per car load) for a guided hike through Catalina State Park.
Option 2:
Meet at Steam Pump Ranch (10901 N. Oracle Road) to walk/run or ride a bicycle along the CDO path. Those who wish to ride will go left; those who wish to go walk/run will go right.
