CodeRED Emergency Notification System
The CodeRED system notifies residents and businesses about potential emergency circumstances occuring in Oro Valley.

CodeRED is a FREE emergency notification service provided to all residents within Oro Valley that will notify you of emergency information through phone calls, text messages, emails and social media. The system will be used to keep you informed of local events that may immediately impact your safety. As a local resident, Oro Valley Police Department encourages you to take action and register your cell phone for this service and verify your home location during the enrollment process so we may target notifications that directly impact your home or business.

What is CodeRED and why is it important to me?

CodeRED is an emergency notification service that allows emergency officials to notify residents and businesses by telephone, cell phone, text message, email and social media regarding time-sensitive general and emergency notifications. Only authorized officials have access to the CodeRED system.

When will CodeRED be used?

Any message regarding the safety, property or welfare of the community will be disseminated using the CodeRED system. These may include AMBER alerts, notifications of hazardous traffic or road conditions, boil water advisories or evacuation notices.
