Second Saturdays at Steam Pump Ranch

The upcoming schedule of guest speakers and music for the Second Saturdays at Steam Pump Ranch follows. 

In addition, the Oro Valley Farmer's Market will be at Steam Pump Ranch every Saturday from 8 a.m. -  noon.

Beginning October 6, the weekly Farmer's Market hours will be 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

November 10
Join us and the Historical Society for a potluck lunch followed by their former president turned historic author, Jim Williams, for a talk    on early settlers in Oro Valley from 1865 – 1965. He will share with us many facts from his new book “Claiming the Desert.”
Fee: $5 Suggested donation to the Oro Valley Historical Society.

December 8
Join us and the Historical Society for a potluck lunch followed by guest speaker Alan Day, brother of retired Supreme Court justice, Sandra Day O’Connor and Ann Day, former Pima County supervisor, as he describes growing up on the Day Ranch here in Arizona as well as his quest to save wild mustangs from 1989 – 1994.
Fee: $5 Suggested donation to the Oro Valley Historical Society

 

Special note:  Ride your bike or walk to the Heirloom Farmer's Market via the shared use path on a Second Saturday at Steam Pump Ranch and receive $1 coupon to use at Steam Pump Ranch Artisan and Commerce Corral vendors (offer limited to the first 20).  Pick up your coupon at the Parks and Recreation booth.
