Town of Oro Valley to host annual Shop with a Cop at Target

December 8, 2016

On December 13, 2016 at 2 p.m., the Town of Oro Valley employees and Town Council will partner with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #53 for its annual Shop with a Cop. Oro Valley Police Department officers and Town employees will shop with Oro Valley students at the Oro Valley Target located at 10555 N. Oracle Road. Teachers and school counselors choose children who are in need of assistance at Oro Valley schools.

Interim Town Manager Chief Daniel G. Sharp stated, “Our children are one of the most important constituents in this community. I could not be prouder of our Town employees’ hard work throughout the year, our community’s and FOP Lodge #53’s donations to make Shop with a Cop a successful event.”

This year, the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce will provide each child with a $15 Target gift card. “Every child deserves a holiday of hope and joy,” said Chamber president / CEO Dave Perry. “Our Chamber and its members are happy to brighten the season for children in need.”
