Oro Valley Main Streets Market Study (November 2017)
The OV Main Streets Market Study evaluates the environment and opportunities for real estate development and/or redevelopment over the next 5-10 years to support the Oro Valley Main Streets Concept Plan.
 

Concept Plan (April 2017)
The Concept Plan is a high-level plan for local Main Streets that illustrates a possible future.  The Concept Plan is:

  • The first step for the project
  • Based on community input
  • A tool for continued community conversation
  • Direction for future detailed planning

The Concept Plan presents three core themes, OV Destinations, Walk-Bike-Ride and Delight in Nature. These pieces all work together and are visually represented as a complete idea on the Concept Map.

This is a project factsheet, intended to provide an overview of Oro Valley Main Streets.

Draft Concept Plan (November 2016)

Draft Concept Plan Executive Summary (November 2016)
This is an executive summary of the Draft Concept Plan and is intended to be read as a tri-fold brochure.

Workshop Report (May 2016)
At the Oro Valley Main Streets Community Workshop, residents came to learn about the project and imagine how Oro Valley Main Streets might look, feel and function. The Workshop Report summarizes workshop ideas, activities and feedback which helped shape the high-level project Concept Plan.

Background Inventory (April 2016)
The Background Inventory provides information on the project as well as analysis on the two proposed main street locations.

Focus Group Meetings (April 2016)
Two focus groups of local experts provided subject matter expertise to help staff prepare for the Community Workshop. The Design Focus Group discussed place making, architecture, landscape and urban design. The Business and Property Owner Focus Group discussed development potential, economic development, branding and marketing.

Stakeholder Interviews Summary Report (March 2016)
As part of early fact-finding, a series of stakeholder interviews were conducted with residents, commercial property owners, developers and local business representatives. The interviews helped gather initial ideas and feedback associated with the Oro Valley Main Streets project.
