Philip C. Saletta, the director of Oro Valley Water Utility, began his career in the water industry over 25 years ago. His background includes planning and development of groundwater and surface water, hydrology, geology and project engineering, management and finance.
Saletta worked for Colorado Springs Utilities for 19 years as a managing engineer in both water and electric resource planning. Saletta also served as general manager of the Dolores Water Conservancy District.
Saletta holds a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration with a major in finance from the University of Colorado. Saletta is a registered professional engineer in Arizona and Colorado.
He and his wife, Carolyn, have been married for 31 years and have two sons that work and reside in Colorado. |
