Water conservation is an important factor in balancing our current and future needs. Climate and the demands on our water supply place a significant impact on our water resources. Combine the state’s arid climate with persistent drought conditions and the importance of managing our resources effectively becomes even greater. The Utility recognizes the complexity and importance of sustained reliability. The water conservation program is an important element in the overall water resource management efforts of the Utility. The water conservation program focuses on water audits, youth and adult education, incentives and cooperative relationships that deal with current issues and research.
