Oro Valley is Seeking Applicants for Various Boards & Commissions

The Town of Oro Valley is now accepting applications for volunteers to fill many positions on our boards and commissions. Applicants must be residents of the town of Oro Valley, and must attend the Town’s fall session of the Citizen Planning Institute during their term, if they have not already done so. The open positions are as follows:

• Board of Adjustment:  one position, to serve a two-year term

Development Review Board: two positions, to serve two-year terms

Finance and Bond Committee: one position, to serve a two-year term

Historic Preservation Commission: one position, to serve a three-year term

Parks & Recreation Advisory Board: two positions, to serve two-year terms

Planning & Zoning Commission: one position, to serve a two-year term

Stormwater Utility Commission: two positions, to serve two-year terms

Art Review Commission: one position, to serve a one-year term

Each body holds public meetings, usually about once a month. They all work with staff to offer direction to Council about their area of Town operations. You can find more information by clicking on the "Boards & Commissions" tab of this webpage.

 

Applications are available at the Oro Valley Town Hall, 11000 N. La Cañada Drive or by clicking on the link below, and will be accepted until the positions are filled.
