Voter Registration Deadline: February 8, 2010

GENERAL ELECTION DATE: MAY 18, 2010

Candidates not elected with majority of the votes cast (valid ballots cast) run in the May “run-off” election. Only candidates equal to twice the number of seats open may run in May. For example, 3 seats open= 6 candidates.

Ballots mailed to registered voters: around April 14, 2010
Early Voting begins: April 15, 2010
Voter Registration Deadline: April 19, 2010

New Council members take office at the first meeting in June: June 2, 2010

FECHA DE ELECCIÓN GENERAL: 18 DE MAYO, 2010

Los candidatos no electos con mayoría de votos emitidos (votos válidos emitidos) se postulan en la elección “de desempate” en mayo. Solamente candidatos equivalentes a dos veces la cantidad de puestos abiertos pueden postularse en mayo. Por ejemplo, 3 puestos abiertos=6 candidatos.
