Mobile Command Center

The Mobile Command Center is equipped to provide shelter, water and emergency dispatching.  It provides police personnel an on-site location to analyze emergency situations where the incident is occurring or has occurred.  Examples include:

• Homicides
• Hostage Negotiations
• Emergency Evacuation of the Police Department
• SWAT Command Center
• Severe Weather Central Command for Emergency Coordination
• Multi-Agency Emergency Coordination

The Mobile Command Center is also used during special events such as:

• July 4th Celebration
• Jazz Festival
• Special Olympics Torch Run
• Tucson Marathon
• El Tour de Tucson
• Special event display for public viewing
